Only a humble breeze blew over Östersund this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Madame Bovary was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Red Hot Metal saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Madame Bovary galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Red Hot Metal followed by Flickering Ring and Madame Bovary. Lane two Starshine Lipstick followed by Foamy Cleanser and Le Petite Croque.



Red Hot Metal were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
