The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Wolf could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Shooting Band galoped for 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Kvarngärdets Obi-wan who started to galop and lost 20 m.




La Soeur was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

No-one could catch Please Mr Postman today who won before La Soeur and Misfit.
