One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modest Candy tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Barefoot Cocktail that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Modest Candy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Backstabbing Carneval couldn't come out from behind the leader, Barefoot Cocktail.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Barefoot Cocktail today. It continued in the lead.




Barefoot Cocktail sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Barefoot Cocktail sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Lola Montez galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Barefoot Cocktail kept the speed the whole finish and won before Modest Candy and Backstabbing Carneval.
