One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Machete took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Machete looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ancelotti couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged Frenzy. Coles Law galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Machete followed by Falling Map and Light Architecture. Lane two Rugged Frenzy followed by Sophisticated Blossom and Ferocious Stone. Light Architecture started to gallop after 1500m and Victor Karlsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Machete sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Rugged Frenzy kept the speed the whole finish and won before Machete and Falling Map.
