The sun was shining on Jarlsberg and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Samurai Hoof was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Dominant Behemoth quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Active Valley sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Active Valley followed by Bocklages Law and Dominant Behemoth. Lane two Eternal Thinker followed by Samurai Hoof and Light Devil. Bocklages Law suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Samurai Hoof never caught up with Bocklages Law who won. Active Valley came third. Results
