The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tender Wave tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bona Nova that came steaming ahead.




Stuwkracht Vertrouwen quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Stepping Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Bona Nova didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stepping Cherry followed by Bona Nova and My Sweet Dream. Lane two Tender Wave followed by Stuwkracht Vertrouwen and Birmingham.



Stepping Cherry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Impatient Diary galop. Impatient Diary lost 10 m.




Tender Wave sprinted over the finishline before Bona Nova and Stepping Cherry.
