The sun was shining on Arvika and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ginger Love found a gap and took the lead. Sunday Sapphire followed before Mad News. When the startcar left the field Sunday Sapphire started to galop and lost 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Insane Starshine, Waving Duchess, Mad News, Sunday Sapphire, Ginger Love, Galiana Larockma, , . Galiana Larockma showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Mad News sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Sunday Sapphire saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Sunday Sapphire sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Sunday Sapphire gallopped 40 m after 2000m. Galiana Larockma gallopped 10 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Waving Duchess galoped for 20 m. Sunday Sapphire kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sunday Sapphire didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
