The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Daffodil found a gap and took the lead. Goofy Ruby followed before Sneaking Red. Sneaking Red was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Powerful Moon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Meinhard looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Sneaking Red galloped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Goofy Ruby to trotting so they were disqualified.




Meinhard was still in the lead after 2000m.



Meinhard sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Meinhard kept the speed the whole finish and won before Rebellious Missile and Powerful Moon.
