The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Joensuu today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Frozen Bandwagon took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Singing Carneval sprinted to the front.

Vont took the lead after 1000m. Blue Falcon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Fighting Lion looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Frozen Bandwagon galoped for 30 m. Expert And Desolate was first on the homestretch followed by Fighting Lion and Blue Falcon.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pampered Starshine galop. Pampered Starshine lost 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Vont galop. Vont lost 40 m.

Blue Falcon sprinted over the finishline before Expert And Desolate and Singing Carneval.
