Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Joensuu track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Apache Strike. Light General ended up behind the leader. Wandering Glitter got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Light His Fire suddenly started to galop. Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get Light His Fire to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and No Matter What sprinted to the front.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

No Matter What was still in the lead after 1500m. Absolutely Do Not Die started to gallop after 1500m and Ari Moilanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Light His Fire started to gallop after 1500m and Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Ghostly Needle litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Light Architecture sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
