One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Volo Principe tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Jolly Bouquet that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Vlucht Afwezig started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Prospectus sprinted to the front.




Volo Principe took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Bouquet didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Jolly Bouquet sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
