One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Brightness tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hellcat Rebel that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Doris Opal sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Smiling Brightness looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Hellcat Rebel speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Smiling Brightness made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Hellcat Rebel.
