One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Turning Whirlwind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Skirtboy took the lead after 1000m. Kelly Hof didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Skirtboy was still in the lead after 1500m. Skirtboy was still in the lead after 2000m. Skirtboy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Turning Whirlwind won. Almere Haven came in second. Skirtboy caught third place. Results
