The weather had been good all week and Hoting was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Needle found a gap and took the lead. Cymrunner followed before Old Body.




This is the positions after 500m. Adrenalize, Cymrunner, Stepping Vanilla, Old Body, Funky Needle, Aindriú Mo Chroí, , .




Funky Needle sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Adrenalize looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Adrenalize were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Funky Needle was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Old Body never caught up with Adrenalize who won. Cymrunner came third.
