The sun was shining on Örebro and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Toon Vrijster took the lead after a very quick start. Running Fall saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Pointing Vanilla who started to galop and lost 40 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Running Fall followed by Diamond Wish and Pointing Vanilla. Lane two Toon Vrijster followed by Stretching Meadow and . Running Fall kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Running Fall didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
