The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sunset Shimmer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Maximum Speed that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Sunset Shimmer looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Playing Velvet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Maximum Speed.




Maximum Speed was still in the lead after 1500m.




Maximum Speed didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




Maximum Speed was safely in the lead after 2500m.



Maximum Speed were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Sunset Shimmer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Quick Stereo never caught up with Maximum Speed who won. Playing Velvet came third.
