One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Banalité was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Volo Principe looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Exotic Wind couldn't come out from behind the leader, Banalité.

Banalité was still in the lead after 1500m. Volo Principe galloped for 10 m.

Banalité kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Banalité looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Exotic Wind, 2 Banalité, 3 Clever Comet.
