One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. About To Score found a gap and took the lead. Gnistra followed before Wolly Breath. Gnistra quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Shooting Band sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Shooting Band today. It continued in the lead. Intelligent Tiger showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Shooting Band sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. About To Score made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Shooting Band. Results
