One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Sly Comet tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bambino that came steaming ahead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Max Tiger clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Sly Comet to trotting so they were disqualified. Bambino clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. No-one could catch Bambino today who won before Pretty Cookie and Max Tiger. Results
