One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Active Knight was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Shy Judge, Active Knight, Verso Perfezione, Seductive Action, Portable Devil, , , .

Active Knight took the lead after 1000m. Verso Perfezione didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Active Knight galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Verso Perfezione accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Portable Devil galoped for 30 m. Verso Perfezione were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

No-one could catch Verso Perfezione today who won before Active Knight and Shy Judge.
