One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Pirate could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Pedal Box Cherry, Fair Fox, Walking Pirate, Quick Speed, Running Rick, Chapter Six, Floating Gold, Good Looking Frenzy.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Quick Speed looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Good Looking Frenzy galoped for 10 m. Quick Speed were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
