The leader couldn't hold the lead and Silver Map sprinted to the front.




Tony Thompson looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Birmingham couldn't come out from behind the leader, Silver Map.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Silver Map followed by Lonely Heroine and Amazing Starlight. Lane two Tony Thompson followed by Devil's Gait and Birmingham.



Silver Map looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Tony Thompson won the race after a spectacular finish.
