The weather had been good all week and Drammen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Devine Flower tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Max Puma that came steaming ahead. Tamboerijn was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tamboerijn sprinted to the front.
