The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





La Soeur could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Quick Satellite galoped for 10 m.




Gilgenburg Larockma quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Glowing Pie sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Quick Satellite saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Quick Satellite were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






La Soeur never caught up with Quick Satellite who won. Exotic Orchid came third.
