The sun was shining on Kausala and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Active Valley took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pinstripe´s Little Bacill sprinted to the front.




Modestine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Modestine followed by Active Valley and Mad Starshine. Lane two Droed Sprained followed by Loyal Wave and Pinstripe´s Little Bacill.



Modestine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Modestine was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




Active Valley won. Loyal Wave came in second. Droed Sprained caught third place.
