The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Travelling Runaway was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Silver Sparrow sprinted to the front. Monday Doll galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Get It All took the lead after 1000m. Silver Sparrow didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Silver Sparrow won the race after a spectacular finish.
