It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Slow Thrasher was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Knight Of Paris saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Velvet Underground looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Slow Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Knight Of Paris.




Velvet Underground saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Velvet Underground kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Asparagus was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Velvet Underground galoped for 50 m. Seductive Universe suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Rolling Flower made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Seductive Universe.
