The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Umåker this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Competitive Blizzard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Climbing Rock, Finagles First Law, Crème De La Crème, Financial Distraction, Competitive Blizzard, Lonely Ring, Sliding Box, Slimy Scout.




Crème De La Crème took the lead after 1000m. Finagles First Law didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Financial Distraction suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sliding Box galop. Sliding Box lost 30 m.




Competitive Blizzard sprinted over the finishline before Financial Distraction and Crème De La Crème.
