One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Bear could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Going Crown started to galop and lost 30 m.




Competitive Behemoth saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Competitive Behemoth clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Going Crown galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Competitive Behemoth followed by Intelligent Pain and Eternal Daffodil. Lane two Rugged Bear followed by Ster Kwaliteit and Starstruck Rose. Rugged Bear started to gallop after 1500m and Joakim Lövgren had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Competitive Behemoth was still in the lead after 2000m.



Competitive Behemoth looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Rugged Bear won the race after a spectacular finish.
