It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trembling Stardust tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Insane Princess that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Brave Sparrow, Trembling Stardust, Glowing Pie, Insane Princess, Dancing Pony, Stepping Madness, Wild Velvet, Cute One.




Trembling Stardust sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Dancing Pony saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Cute One was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Insane Princess speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Insane Princess. Trembling Stardust came in second. Glowing Pie became third.
