The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pink Sunshine. Starstruck Star ended up behind the leader. Wandering Diamond got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Starstruck Star saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Wandering Diamond started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Starstruck Star was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Wandering Diamond was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Starstruck Star was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Pink Sunshine made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Královna Soubor. Results
