One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





La Donna could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Confident Devil saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Rapala sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Rapala was still in the lead after 1500m.



Adventurous Momentum was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Rapala sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
