Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Hard Rocket was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Carlos Zilga saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. The leader got disturbed by something and Just Like Me took the lead rather easily. Just Like Me was still in the lead after 1500m. Just Like Me started to gallop after 1500m and Per-Åke Holmsten had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Ivory Maid started to gallop after 1500m and Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. With only a little left of the race Thinking Work galoped for 10 m. Good Looking Comet suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Thinking Work showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Ken Sent Me Cherry won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
