Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halsua track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Magic Passion was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Heikki Hietanen wanted a little to much in the start and Fair Dancer galoped for 30 m.




Opposing Mambo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Purple Sparkle sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Opposing Mambo accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Opposing Mambo looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Magic Passion made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Modestine.
