The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Lahti today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Madame Bovary could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Insane Fiesta saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Breathing Electra took the lead after 1000m. Radiating Fall didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Radiating Fall looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Insane Fiesta started to gallop after 1500m and Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Breathing Electra speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Traduire Cette sprinted over the finishline before Madame Bovary and Radiating Fall.
