One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modestine took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Posadas, Tranquil Closet, Swinging Sparrow, Appeal Applause, Blushing Venus, Jolly Heat, Étonnement Jeune, Modestine.




Posadas was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Blushing Venus looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Blushing Venus galoped for 20 m. Blushing Venus were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Blushing Venus showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Swinging Sparrow won the race after a spectacular finish.
