One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Slow Thrasher could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ralf Karlstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Glorious Doll galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Gnägg started to galop and lost 30 m.

Trying To Recall quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Lawless to trotting so they were disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Midnight Jewel who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Focused Dragon took the lead after 1000m. Awesome Heavy One didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Slow Thrasher was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Focused Dragon was still in the lead after 1500m.

Focused Dragon didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Focused Dragon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

No-one could catch Focused Dragon today who won before Sweet Breeze and Awesome Heavy One.
