One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Étonnement Jeune took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Attack Opal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jolly Heat couldn't come out from behind the leader, Étonnement Jeune.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Attack Opal followed by Étonnement Jeune and Joss Larockma. Lane two Jolly Heat followed by Power Factory and Jumping Mountain.




Attack Opal didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Attack Opal looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Attack Opal today who won before Jolly Heat and Étonnement Jeune.
