One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mad Starshine found a gap and took the lead. Contadino followed before Frozen General. Shooting Band was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Prison Breaker was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Mad Starshine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Contadino was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mad Starshine today. It continued in the lead.



Mad Starshine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Solid Rock never caught up with Mad Starshine who won. Shooting Band came third.
