One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Running Pirate took the lead after a very quick start.

Running Pirate was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Count On Me who started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Speedy Piece took the lead rather easily.

Clever Paradigm looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Clever Paradigm sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Count On Me to trotting so they were disqualified.

No-one could catch Clever Paradigm today who won before Running Pirate and Speedy Piece.
