One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Shy Beard. Insane Breeze ended up behind the leader. Voorhebben Voort got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Gold Circle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Gold Circle clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Voorhebben Voort was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Gold Moonlight galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Insane Breeze suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Gold Circle was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Voorhebben Voort gallopped for 20 m.

Insane Breeze showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Dooleys Law was first on the homestretch followed by Lexicon and Shy Beard.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Lexicon galop. Lexicon lost 50 m. Johnny Takter tried a little too much on the homestretch and Experienced Muscle started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Shy Beard sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
