One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Duke sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Boomboom Buxbom quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Floating Venus who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Boomboom Buxbom clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Boomboom Buxbom was still in the lead after 1500m.



Boomboom Buxbom looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
