The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Front Momentum took the lead after a very quick start.




Front Momentum was in fine shape and held the lead.




Front Momentum was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Front Momentum was still in the lead after 1500m. Reconquista started to gallop after 1500m and Roger Malmqvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Power Frenzy suddenly took over the lead.



Front Momentum litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Light Gold won the race after a spectacular finish.
