The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Heavenly Ballerina found a gap and took the lead. Prima Sunset followed before Moonshine Pegasos. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Sunday Mistress galoped for 30 m.

Sunday Mistress saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Heavenly Ballerina was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sunday Mistress followed by Decisive Runner and Prima Sunset. Lane two Tranquil Blossom followed by Frangelico and Into The Night. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Red Wardrobe gallopped for 20 m.

Prima Sunset seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Blended Scotch gallopped 30 m after 2000m.

Prima Sunset kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Prima Sunset. Moonshine Pegasos came in second. Frangelico became third.
