One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Afrodite was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Curly Lashes quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Playing Love took the lead after 1000m. Curly Lashes didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Playing Love followed by Curly Lashes and Eskimo Hoof. Lane two Snoezig followed by Carlos Afrodite and Heavenly Madame. Heavenly Madame galloped for 40 m.



Playing Love were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Leif Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Carlos Afrodite started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Eskimo Hoof won the race after a spectacular finish.
