One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mille Bleu tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ivory Sapphire that came steaming ahead.




Ivory Sapphire was in fine shape and held the lead.




Mille Bleu sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Ivory Sapphire accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Mille Bleu gallopped for 40 m.



Swinging Sparrow suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Swinging Sparrow didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
