One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Growing Movement sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Gold Bumble Bee started to galop and lost 10 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Punching Arraow who started to galop and lost 50 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
