One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Flea took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Ferocious Agent, American Casanova, Idonette, Funky Flea, Ima Pretender, Torrance, El Rapido, Grasping Summer.




Ferocious Agent clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Torrance saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



American Casanova was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Torrance kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Grasping Summer won. Torrance came in second. Funky Flea caught third place.
