Start List
Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Flying Detroit found a gap and took the lead. Radiating Ballerina followed before Sudden Feeling. This is the positions after 500m. Famous Darkness, Ticking Fabric, Radiating Ballerina, Turning Pie, Skipping Sunray, Flying Detroit, Sudden Feeling, Breathing Blossom. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Skipping Sunray looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Turning Diamond galloped way to long and was disqualified. Breathing Blossom seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Turning Diamond gallopped 10 m after 2000m. Ticking Fabric gallopped 20 m after 2000m. With only a little left of the race Uphill Princess galoped for 50 m. Breathing Blossom kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Breathing Blossom was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Flying Detroit made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sudden Feeling. Results
