One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frosty Beauty found a gap and took the lead. Useless Invitation followed before Le Poignard.




Frosty Beauty was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Frosty Beauty was still in the lead after 1500m.



Useless Invitation suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Winner of todays race was Useless Invitation. Frosty Beauty came in second. Le Poignard became third.
